Nutrition will become the primary treatment modality in the 21st century.
The term integrative nutrition is a new approach under the functional medicine modality to healing. It is a revolutionary way to treat illness by prevention and looking at the underlying root cause rather than putting a band-aid on symptoms.
Stephanie is a clinical and sports nutritionist providing nutrition counseling and education for 25 years. After working in the Middle East for a decade, she joined Emirates Integra to collaborate with a team of passionate advocates of health and wellbeing.
Aware that food can be a complex issue, Stephanie is focused on dealing with metabolic individuality that informs her functional nutrition protocols and coaching. She helps people improve their relationship with food, determine nutritional deficiencies, and applies evidence- based strategies, especially when clients have multiple health issues, to identify the root cause and incorporate specific dietary and activity adjustments to achieve the right results. She treats autism spectrum disorder and neurotransmitter-related depression and anxiety issues; metabolic disease and weight management; gastro- intestinal issues, food intolerance, small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) and allergies, genetic nutritional imbalance like MTHFR; auto-immune nutrition treatments and rebalancing the biochemical function; anti-inflammatory diets and detoxification, anti-aging and hormonal imbalance.
Stephanie often lectures on nutritional and wellness topics to corporations, community organisations, and various athletic bodies including the New Zealand Institute of Sports. She is the founder of the nutritional website (www.purenutritiondubai.com) and contributes to several local publications on matters of diet and nutrition.
