Dr. Aparna is an experienced specialist in anesthesia with 25 years of work experience in the UAE along with broad training in multiple countries. Her specialties include chronic and acute pain management, pediatric and adult anesthesia care, and ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and regional anesthesia. Chronic pain management experience includes managing shoulder and knee pain, headaches; including migraine and tension, Trigeminal Neuralgia, back pain. Interventional treatment include: disc injections, facet joint, nerve root, and sacroiliac joint blocks. Dr. Aparna is a highly successful medical practitioner as a part of multidisciplinary teams in various health care systems and cultures around the Globe. In addition to her licensing in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, she is licensed by the Medical Council of Canada and the Rajasthan Medical Council of India. She is a member of the Indian Society of Anesthesiology. Prior to her service at Emirates Integra, Dr. Aparnawas affiliated with Al-Zahra Hospital and HealthBay Clinic in Dubai; along with several facilities in Abu Dhabi, Harley Street Medical Center, Al-Noor Hospital, and Al-Manara Hospital. She enjoys volunteering her time and contributing to the health and well-being of others. For example, she volunteers at health care camps in India and has volunteered in several places in Canada, including: the Department of Anesthesia in Toronto Western Hospital, in the Cardiac Wellness Center, Oshawa, and the Women’s College Hospital Toronto.
